Objectives of the Course
|
To understand character development, explain the factors influencing character development, classify values, explain methods used in character and values education, and plan activities for character and values education.

|
Character development and the factors influencing character development, the concept of values and the classification of values, methods used in character and values education, and the planning and implementation of activities in this field.

Course Methods and Techniques
|
Each lesson will start with the lecturer introducing the weekly course content. In the teaching process, lecture, question-answer, drama, role playing, case study method will be used and group discussions will take place. For this reason, it is compulsory to do a preliminary study on the subject to be covered before the lesson.

Course Notes
|
Approaches to values ??education—along with the considerations, methods, and techniques employed in this field—are covered, as is Kohlberg’s theory of moral development. Each student is required to maintain a "method notebook," in which they record their personal learning goals at the beginning of the course, as well as key notes from class discussions. The textbook provided in the "Course Resources" section is used throughout the term, and examination questions will be based on this text.
