Objectives of the Course
The objective of this course is to provide students with fundamental theoretical knowledge and practical skills regarding the mathematical modeling of dynamic systems, the analysis of control system behavior in both time and frequency domains, and the design principles of controllers to satisfy specified performance criteria.

Course Content
This course begins with an introduction to control systems, Laplace transform fundamentals, and the mathematical modeling of mechanical and electrical dynamic systems. The first part examines system representation and reduction using block diagrams and Signal-Flow Graphs (SFG) via Mason ` s Gain Formula. The second section covers time-domain responses of first- and second-order systems, transient response parameters, Routh-Hurwitz stability analysis, and steady-state error evaluation. The final part thoroughly addresses Root-Locus analysis, frequency-domain analysis using Bode and Nyquist plots, as well as the design principles of Lead/Lag compensators and PID controllers.
