Objectives of the Course
The objective of this course is to provide students with practical engineering skills in designing, building, simulating, and experimentally characterizing BJT, FET, and Op-Amp based electronic circuits. Complementing the theoretical coursework, this laboratory course enables students to collect experimental data using test equipment, analyze and interpret the data, compare physical measurements with theoretical and computational models, and document their findings in formal technical reports.

Course Content
This course is a practical laboratory experience complementing the theoretical knowledge of EE302 Electronics II, focusing on the design, construction, PSPICE simulation, analysis, characterization, and testing of electronic circuits. Experiments cover fundamental concepts of single-stage BJT and FET amplifiers, including gain, input/output impedance, and lower/upper cutoff frequencies. Multi-stage amplifiers, Darlington pairs, and differential amplifiers are also analyzed. Furthermore, operational amplifier configurations—inverting, non-inverting, summing, and difference amplifiers—along with RC integrators and differentiators are implemented. The final section includes the experimental analysis of Class A, B, and AB power amplifiers, as well as regulated power supplies.
