Dersin İçeriği This course is intended to introduce students to the current understanding and relevant issues of the economics. It will develop a solid foundation of the microeconomic underpinnings that comprise the macroeconomics. Within the microeconomic framework, special attention will be paid on the firms and the choices they make; the relationship between output and costs in the short and long-run; limits to consumption; the concept of utility; economic inequality, and the value of competition. The course will also develop a thorough understanding of the macroeconomics, looking closely at gross domestic product, unemployment, and inflation.
