Dersin Amacı Tüm firmalar tedarikçilerine, dağıtımcılarına, dış kaynaklı operasyonlarına ve lojistiğe bağımlılıktan kaynaklanan risklere tabidir. Bu kurs, bu risklerin tanımlanması ve azaltılmasına bakacaktır.
Dersin İçeriği Oldukça yakın zamanda ortaya çıkmış olmasına rağmen, tedarik zinciri (lojistik) risk yönetimi tanınan ve köklü bir alan haline geldi ve tedarik zinciri (lojistik) riskini anlamak ve yönetmek için yeni modeller, araçlar ve tekniklerin geliştirilmesi ve yaygınlaştırılmasıyla sonuçlandı. Çok sayıda olay uzun ve karmaşık bir tedarik zincirinin operasyonlarını etkileyebilir. Bu beklenmeyen olaylar iş operasyonlarını aniden bozabilir ve firmaları çeşitli risklere maruz bırakabilir. Tedarik zinciri (lojistik) risk yönetimi, bu riskleri yönetmekten sorumlu işlevdir. Bu dersin amacı, lojistik ve tedarik zincirinde güvenlik ve risk yönetimi ilkelerini tanıtmak, bu riskleri azaltmak için en yaygın kullanılan yöntemleri tanımlamak ve önemli gelecekteki zorlukları belirlemektir.
