The first part of the course covers the history of computers, essential hardware components (such as the motherboard, processor, memory, storage units, and input/output devices), and various types of software (including operating systems, application software, and utility programs). Subsequently, the interfaces, basic settings, and user operations of current operating systems—with a particular focus on Windows—are demonstrated through practical application. In the following sections, the core functions of office software—specifically word processors (e.g., Microsoft Word), spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel), and presentation software (Microsoft PowerPoint)—are taught in detail. This includes hands-on exercises such as creating documents, developing tables and charts, writing formulas, and designing presentations.
