Objectives of the Course To provide knowledge of surgical diseases and nursing care, and to enable students to identify the needs of surgical patients and their families from hospital admission to discharge, and to solve patients ` problems in line with the nursing process.
Course Content This course covers perioperative nursing, fluid-electrolyte balance, surgical stress and wound care, as well as nursing care in respiratory, cardiovascular, endocrine, musculoskeletal, gastrointestinal, hepatopancreatobiliary, neurological, and urinary system surgeries, and in breast cancer, obesity, and metabolic surgery applications.
