Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to provide knowledge about the concepts of health tourism, to examine the development of health tourism, to analyze the health tourism sector, and to evaluate health tourism in Turkey and the world.
Course Content History of tourism, basic concepts related to tourism, contribution of tourism and health tourism to national economies and tourism statistics, tourist health and tourist health services, health tourism, intermediary institutions in health tourism enterprises, accredited health institutions in Turkey, environment, objectives and classifications of health tourism enterprises, types of health tourism, evaluation of policies, incentives, and grants for health tourism in Turkey, and research evaluating the health tourism sector in Turkey.
Course Methods and Techniques Lecture, Discussion, Question-Answer, Problem Solving, Brainstorming, Case Study, Questioning, Creative, Environmental Awareness.
