Objectives of the Course This course aims to help students understand the basic concepts of computer programming and develop their problem-solving skills. They will be able to develop their algorithm creation skills by understanding programming logic and will be aimed to practice basic coding with the Python programming language. At the end of the course, students will be able to develop simple projects using basic programming structures.
Course Content This course will introduce programming and cover topics such as basic concepts, algorithms, and data structures. Basic structures such as variables, conditionals, loops, functions, and object-oriented programming will be covered using the Python programming language. In addition, students will be provided with practice by developing small projects to reinforce what they have learned.
Course Methods and Techniques This course will use a teaching method supported by theoretical explanations, practical examples and interactive exercises. Students will reinforce the concepts they have learned by applying them in practice through problem-solving-oriented projects and assignments. They will also develop their programming skills by using group work and online resources.

Explain the concept of programming and its basic components.
Be able to create basic programming constructs using variables, data types, operators, and conditional expressions.
Can effectively manage repetitive operations using loops and functions.
It can store and manipulate data in an organized manner with arrays and data structures (lists, dictionaries, stacks, queues).
It can improve problem-solving skills by explaining the process of creating algorithms.
It can increase the reliability of the program by catching errors and managing exceptions.
By learning the basic principles of object-oriented programming (OOP), students can use class and object structures.
Can understand the basic syntax and operating logic of the Python programming language.
It can create dynamic decision mechanisms with conditional statements and loop structures.
Can transform theoretical knowledge into practical applications by developing simple Python projects.
By using modules and libraries, code duplication can be reduced and efficient programs can be written.
Using explanatory comments within the code can increase the readability and maintainability of the code.
Evaluate the usage areas and advantages of programming languages ??and Python.
