Course Content
"The Creative Writing course is a practice-oriented course that addresses the relationship between creativity, creative thinking, and writing, as well as the core principles and instructional processes of creative writing. Within the scope of the course, students engage in exercises such as utilizing senses and observation, association, free writing, and writing based on visuals and music; developing character, setting, time, point of view, plot, and dialogue; producing stories, fairy tales, poetry, and short creative texts; as well as text revision, peer feedback, and rewriting. Additionally, the course emphasizes prospective teachers designing creative writing activities for primary school students, evaluating student products through both process- and product-oriented approaches, and using digital/multimodal environments ethically."

Course Methods and Techniques
"The course is conducted in the form of creative writing workshops following brief theoretical lectures. It incorporates practices such as free writing, brainstorming, association, sensory description, prompt-based writing using visuals/music/objects, story completion, altering perspectives, developing characters and dialogues, rewriting, collaborative writing, peer review, and author’s chair activities. Prospective teachers experience the process in both their roles as writers and as future primary school teachers, discussing how these practices can be adapted to the primary school level."
