Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to evaluate basic economic concepts within the scope of the unique characteristics of health services and to ensure their application in the health sector and to introduce econometric valuation methods in health services.
Course Content In this course, the concept of health economics will be emphasized and the position of the health service sector within the general economy will be examined by considering the production and consumption facts on a macro scale, while at the same time, the techniques will be taught by providing the necessary information for the efficiency of the stakeholders of the health sector with a micro-scale approach.
Course Methods and Techniques The course starts with a brief summary of the previous week's topic and is taught in an interactive way, ensuring student participation.
