Course Notes
|
1. Class attendance is 70%. Students who do not attend class for at least five weeks fail due to absenteeism and cannot take midterm and final exams.
2. Students can be up to 15 minutes late for class; however, this cannot be made a habit. Those who cannot attend the first part of the class must definitely attend the second part; this is important in calculating absenteeism.
3. This form specifies the books that can be used as resources in the class. Students are responsible for the 14-week topics specified in this form and also what is covered in the class. Students can also learn the topics to be covered throughout the term from computer science books.
4. Students prepare for the topics to be covered each week in advance; they are expected to have reasonable knowledge when asked about the topic.
5. Students bring the necessary materials (books, notebooks and pens) to class; they cannot chat among themselves during class.
6. Cell phones are on silent during class. All our students are occupied with the class during class. No food or drink other than water can be consumed during class. 7. Homework/tasks are completed and submitted on time. Due dates for homework are shared in communication groups. In case of delay, permission must be obtained from the instructor in advance.
