Objectives of the Course It is to realize something about social and social life through photography by using photography techniques and installations.
Course Content The content of the course is to create and record photo series that create stories by using photography techniques in a more qualified way, beyond basic photography information, and to reflect on the photographs what people feel with their own perspective as a photographer. It is to reveal the production of photography in order to make people think, act or inform through documentary photographs.
Course Methods and Techniques Anlatım, örnek proje incelemesi, tartışma, saha çalışması, uygulamalı çekim, proje geliştirme ve sunum.

Course Learning Outcomes: Upon the successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

1 To examine the history of documentary photography and photography, the development and changes of the art of photography, to apply the basic skills of photography in the form of documentary photography and to produce quality photographs in documentary photography applications.
2 To be able to use the photograph as a storytelling and to be able to use it as a technical and practical knowledge in terms of conveying the narration with the still image method.
3 To be able to use documentary photography as a mass communication tool and to present different approaches with different approaches and perspectives in different environments through this communication tool.
4 To be able to create images with correct editing aesthetics and visual power in the production processes of documentary photography, and to evaluate documentary photographs with these perspectives.
