NoLearning Outcomes
Explains the functioning of reanimation and intensive care units; applies the processes of patient monitoring, transfer, infection control, isolation measures, and medical waste management in accordance with patient safety principles.
Assesses the risk of pressure ulcers; applies appropriate positioning techniques, performs cannula, catheter, stoma, endotracheal tube, oral, hair, and body care in accordance with hygiene rules, and manages the blood gas sampling process.
Safely performs enteral and parenteral nutrition applications; explains the basic principles of mechanical ventilators and oxygen therapy, recognizes respiratory failure, and plans appropriate interventions.
Evaluates critical clinical conditions such as shock, embolism, and acute renal failure; applies appropriate care and nursing approaches by monitoring vital signs.
Explains the effects of the pharmacological agents used in sedoanalgesia treatment and supports patient safety through safe drug administration in the intensive care patient.
