The aim of MIM 646 "Analysis Methods in Architecture" course is to teach students statistical analysis methods in the field of architecture and to enable them to use them in their research processes. This course aims to teach students basic statistical concepts, data collection methods, analysis techniques and statistical hypothesis testing. Students learn to choose the right data collection methods, analyse the data, interpret the results and make statistically correct inferences in their architectural research. They are also prepared for real world applications by learning the use of common statistical software such as SPSS.
